It's wonderful when a photograph or a piece of writing can make the familiar seem abruptly otherworldly and new. This gorgeous image of the golden gate bridge makes it seem like we're looking at a different planet or through the lens of a dream. Will it inspire you this week?

Wow... this picture is magical, maybe a bad question but still, has it been altered by any software?

more inspiring thoughts from me Naomi, aka delephine.hamm@gmail.com: Well Rae Dawn You've really done it this time! At least you'll be successful if only for once. Once in a lifetime of misgivings, failures broken hopes and lost dreams.
Just like the golden haze and lavender mists of the encroaching twilight of misspent youth, dastarderly and revolting adulthood and a life always on the lam from the law, this time you really gone and done it.
It's tuesday 22, Feb 2005 and it's way long overdue. Tonight has to be the night.
I'll always remember my last supper cooked by moi, in my country cottage lit by scented candlelight and amidst the fog of my mind and of vanilla incense, everything had been charted, planned and executed.
I loved the music I played earlier while dining by myself.
Everything was in place, even me. The stars were twinkling up in the heavens. The full moon and me. Just me. I told my best friend how much I loved him and good luck. Him not being in the know.
It was chilly up here on the golden gate bridge. I had come so far. A life time. And this climb seemed unending.
I said my prayers and told God I still love him.
I commenced to jump off the bridge into the deep unknown.
Bright lights blinded me! Voices yelling! Sirens shrilled loudly.
And then velvety blankness embraced me into night.
It seemed like forever but when I came to, I was in the arms of a tall strong and goodlooking young man.
I felt elated but drained. I guess this is Xanadua.
to be continued
